Industrial Building in Axios – Thessaloniki
This project αφορά τον σχεδιασμό ενός industrial building in the Axios area, within the industrial zone of Thessaloniki, and represents one of the first architectural studies by Gonzalez Malama Architects.
The proposal focuses on functionality, clarity of volumes, and the rational organization of the production process, aiming to create an efficient and flexible industrial environment. The composition is based on simple geometries and a clear construction logic, responding to the needs of contemporary industrial activity.
Special emphasis was placed on optimizing workflow, the relationship between enclosed and semi-open spaces, and the potential for future expansion. The project reflects an early yet well-defined design approach, where architecture emerges as a result of function, construction, and economy of means.
