Set on a sloping Mediterranean landscape overlooking the lagoon of Gialova, the project explores the relationship between architecture, topography and horizon.
The composition is organized through a sequence of distinct volumes, carefully positioned to follow the natural terrain while framing controlled views towards the sea. The ground floor forms a solid, grounded base, expressed through stone volumes that integrate with the landscape. Above, lighter white volumes float, opening towards the horizon and emphasizing the panoramic experience.
At the core of the design lies a clear spatial hierarchy:
private spaces are placed in more introverted wings, while the living areas unfold towards the pool and the open view, dissolving the boundary between interior and exterior.
Outdoor living plays a central role in the project. Semi-open spaces, pergolas and terraces act as transitional zones, mediating light, shadow and climate. The water element — both the swimming pool and the secondary water features — reinforces the sense of continuity with the distant lagoon.
Materiality follows a restrained palette: natural stone, textured plaster and warm wood surfaces. Together, they create a calm and timeless architectural language, rooted in the Mediterranean context while maintaining a contemporary identity.
The project is not conceived as a single object, but as a system of relationships — between volumes, landscape, light and view — forming a controlled yet open living environment.
